About picture :: happiness

How much of your day is spent doing things that make you happy?  Do you pay attention to the little moments of each day that bring happiness?

Several years ago I started considering both of these questions and wondering how to combine them with a photography project…two of my loves are taking pictures and writing.  This year I decided to move out of my comfort zone and ::act:: instead of dream.  It’s easy for me to stay content in my own little world, but life is about connecting and interacting.  This project is forcing me to reach out more.  And even though it has just begun, I’ve already been blessed more than I could imagine.  I also wanted to challenge myself to live a life of gratitude.  God gives us little gifts throughout the day, and it is easy to miss them in the midst of the clutter, chaos, and routine of daily life.  A heart full of gratitude is a heart that sees that God is truly good.  We will never deserve the gifts we receive…and that’s the beauty of it.

My desire is to capture happiness.  ::Your happiness:: doing the things you love.  My ::happy littles:: to remind me to pay attention to the small things that bring me joy.  I’m not sure where any of this is going to lead, but I hope you’ll take the journey with me.  The world could use a little more ::happiness::
