:: the flower girl goes to the Braves game

Hallelujah for three-day weekends! Ours was action packed, and I wouldn’t change one second of it. We definitely didn’t get much rest, but that’s what upcoming beach trips are for, right?

Bean was a flower girl this weekend in our dear friend Megan’s wedding. Megan was a nanny for Ellie Bean and is our primary babysitter, so those two have bonded many hours over snuggle time on the couch, watching Ellen, and singing Disney songs. The wedding and reception were both beautiful, and Bean had a blast dancing the night away like a princess in her flower girl dress.

We also made a last-minute decision to head to the Braves game on Sunday. Bean actually made that decision for us, and it turned out to be a great one. The weather was perfect, the Braves won, and Bean even got to run the bases after the game! Of course, she had no idea what she was actually doing, but she stood in line with all the other kiddos and ran those bases as fast as her little legs would take her. And she threw a fit when she couldn’t go back and do it again. Watching her trucking it around the bases on Turner Field in her Braves hat is something I will never forget.

Memorial Day weekend happy littles…
