:: Valentine’s week

We’re starting to get a little stir crazy. Even though it’s nice to be home sometimes, we’re all getting a little tired of cold weather keeping us indoors. Especially since Bean is now sick and currently coughing up a what sounds like a lung while trying to nap.

Side note…someone needs to invent a way for kids to sleep upright when they’re sick. There’s a money-maker. Exhausted parents across the world would spend a fortune if it meant not having their kiddos cough and sneeze in their faces all night long.  We love our kids…but we also love sleep. And we feel really bad when we can’t do anything to help. So if you figure that one out, let me know.

We managed to keep ourselves busy for the week with some epic hide-and-seek games (at least for a two-year old), painting, and baking Ellie’s first batch of cookies. But by Saturday we were over being cooped up in the house and ventured out for an exciting night at the mall (whoop whoop!).
